WHAT WE DO

ABOUT US
Maui Mixerʻs was established in 2015. Our goal is to provide support to native Hawaiian communities of Keanae, Maui and Statewide to help improve their socio-economic conditions.
MISSION STATEMENT
A) Research, Training and Support to Native Hawaiian Organizations to secure funding opportunities and network with the philanthropic sector.
B) Develop and Support culturally-grounded projects that help to promote and perpetuate traditional Hawain practices.
C) Grant Writing Training, Grants Management and Training, & Grant and Project Oversight to assure fiscal accountability.
D) Support Na Mahiʻai o Keanae (Farmers of Keanae) in partnership with Pilipaʻa LLC through volunteer work-days, water systems monitoring, and grant opportunities.

Maui Mixer is implementing projects and programs to support native Hawaiian communities State-wide. Our funding development team is providing opportunities to fund specific programs that align with funders and philanthropists interests.


Na Mahiʻai o Keanae (The Farmers of Keanae)
Maui Mixer, dba Na Mahiʻai o Keanae has been providing support and assistance to the Keanae community since 2019. The goal of this project is to provide farm support to Keanae and Maui taro farmers to promote food sustainability and home gardens. Na Mahiʻai o Keanae has a 10-year agreement with the Board of Land and Natural Resources to help monitor and maintain the water system that leads into the Keanae peninsula and taro crops.
