Our volunteer days are on the first Monday of the month in the mornings from 9am til 11:30am. Volunteers will learn about the history of the farm and about the kalo plant. Volunteers will work alongside Keʻanae farmers to help with all aspects of farming including planting, harvesting and maintaining taro patches.
This is a family-friendly activity and all ages are welcome. Come prepared with water, sun protective clothing and water shoes to wear in the loʻi. Mālama Maui work gloves are provided. Wear clothes that can get wet and muddy. Email namahiaiokeanae@gmail.com to get involved!
